F&B Service Expert

About the Role

The Ritz-Carlton is seeking an F&B Service Expert to join their team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This role is focused on creating memorable and unique dining experiences for guests, going beyond just serving food and drinks. As a Guest Service Expert, you will proactively deliver a wide range of services to ensure guests enjoy their meals. Your responsibilities will include setting tables, coordinating with the kitchen, interacting with and serving guests, and maintaining cleanliness of work areas and supplies. The goal is to make every transaction a seamless part of the guest's overall experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively deliver a wide range of services to ensure guests enjoy their dining experience.
• Set tables and prepare dining areas for service.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff regarding orders and guest needs.
• Interact with guests, take orders, and serve food and beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, service stations, and supplies.
• Ensure all guest transactions are handled efficiently and contribute to a positive experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year of related work experience in food and beverage service is required.
• No supervisory experience is necessary for this role.
• Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, including on uneven or slippery surfaces.
• Ability to read and visually verify menu information.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds independently, and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Must be able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Professional appearance, uniform, and communication are essential.

Eligibility

This position is open to individuals with at least 1 year of related work experience in food and beverage service. A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred. Candidates must be able to meet the physical demands of the role, including prolonged standing and lifting.
