F&B Support Expert

About the Role

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dedicated F&B Support Expert to join their team in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of food and beverage services, aiming to create memorable and unique guest experiences beyond just serving meals. The position involves providing essential support to both front-of-house and back-of-house operations, contributing to the overall guest satisfaction and the success of the establishment. Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining seamless food and beverage operations.
• Support kitchen staff with various tasks as needed.
• Ensure cleanliness of work areas and replenish supplies.
• Contribute to creating a safe and professional working environment.
• Uphold high-quality standards in all tasks performed.
• Maintain a professional appearance and communication style.
• Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and moving over various surfaces for extended periods.
• Manage and read menu information accurately.
• Handle objects weighing up to 25 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Perform tasks such as reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
• While no direct work experience is mandatory, previous experience in a food and beverage setting is preferred.
• No supervisory experience is necessary for this role.
• No specific licenses or certifications are required.
• Must be able to perform physical demands of the job, including prolonged standing and lifting.
• Ability to adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
