Role Overview

The Field Sales Trainer will act as a product and sales enablement specialist for Kidde Global Solutions, with primary responsibility for training and supporting internal field sales teams as well as authorized channel partners. The position combines technical product knowledge, system application expertise, and a strong understanding of fire alarm and life safety solutions to strengthen selling capability and technical confidence.

The role also involves creating, delivering, and improving training initiatives that help sales teams and partners position Edwards and Kidde Commercial UL products, understand system applications, and navigate life safety requirements in the field. The trainer will serve as a reliable subject matter expert throughout the sales cycle.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time remote role based in Saudi Arabia. Riyadh or Jeddah is preferred, but candidates located anywhere in KSA may also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct standardized global sales training programs for internal field sales staff.
  • Coordinate regionally with the global sales training organization so that learning content fits local business needs.
  • Deliver onboarding and ongoing learning for internal teams and channel partners on Edwards and Kidde Commercial UL products, system structures, and field applications.
  • Facilitate instructor-led learning sessions, workshops, and seminars in classrooms, on-site, and in virtual settings.
  • Keep current with fire alarm codes and standards, including relevant NFPA requirements, country-specific regulations, and accepted industry practices.
  • Update and maintain training assets such as presentations, course content, and other instructional materials.
  • Coach and mentor sales team members, offering technical support that builds confidence and improves selling performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred, although comparable trade experience or certifications may also be accepted.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the life safety field, with exposure to fire alarm systems, low-voltage systems, system integration, and field sales.
  • Strong knowledge of fire alarm and life safety technologies.
  • Experience training multicultural and international audiences.
  • NICET Level I or II, or a similar certification, is a plus; instructional design or training credentials are also advantageous.
  • Background in a B2B environment.
  • Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is a strong advantage.
  • Advanced ability with Microsoft O365 tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation ability with experience speaking to varied audiences.
  • Consultative selling experience, along with active listening skills and relationship-building ability.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organization and time management skills.
  • Must be willing to travel for work.
