About the role

This position is a practical finance-based data and analytics role centred on one key goal: delivering the right insights to the right audience in a form they can actually use. The role sits within Finance and involves creating and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reporting tools for stakeholders across finance, commercial, and operational teams.

You will need to think beyond technical dashboard creation and focus on how different users interpret information, including non-financial audiences who require clear, business-friendly reporting.

What you'll do

• Design, test, update, and improve Power BI dashboards and visual reports.
• Convert business needs into straightforward technical and data requirements.
• Work through multiple systems and understand how their datasets connect and differ.
• Collect, clean, and analyse financial information to bring out actionable insights.
• Run smaller projects from initial scoping through to implementation and release.
• Look for ways to strengthen data quality, structure, and automation.
• Build effective working relationships with finance and BI stakeholders.

What we're looking for

This role suits someone who goes beyond simply producing dashboards and is genuinely interested in whether the output helps people make decisions. Strong communication is essential, especially the ability to tailor the way information is presented for different audiences.

• A tertiary qualification in data, finance, quantitative studies, or a similar field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 to 4 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or finance analytics.
• Advanced Power BI capability, including dashboard development, validation, and maintenance.
• Solid understanding of financial data structures, reporting metrics, and data interpretation.
• Experience with SAP or another ERP platform is a strong advantage.
• Exposure to AI use in reporting is considered beneficial.
