Role overview

In this Riyadh-based Senior Finance role within the Data & Analytics practice, you will help major organizations across the Middle East reshape their finance functions to be more insight-led, digitally enabled, and closely tied to business strategy. The position sits at the intersection of finance, technology, and strategic transformation, supporting CFO organizations as they modernize operating models, strengthen performance, and capture value from AI-powered finance capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Shape finance strategies and target operating models for CFO organizations, including governance structures, process redesign, and the technologies that support them.
• Partner with finance stakeholders and technology teams to define, design, and co-create AI-enabled finance solutions such as generative AI, machine learning, and intelligent automation.
• Lead cross-functional transformation efforts that connect finance, business, and technology in complex programs.
• Improve finance performance management by redesigning planning, forecasting, and performance steering using advanced analytics and modern reporting frameworks.
• Support accounting and closing innovation, including regulatory and IFRS-aligned implementation, while introducing automation and digital tools to streamline processes.
• Contribute to treasury transformation through the design and rollout of modern treasury management capabilities and solutions.
• Drive large-scale finance transformation programs focused on operating model redesign, digital finance platforms, and data-led finance capabilities.
• Support post-merger integration work by aligning finance processes and operating models during merger and acquisition activity.
• Assist with business development by helping prepare proposals, client presentations, and new opportunity materials, while strengthening relationships with senior client stakeholders.

Profile required

• Several years of hands-on experience in consulting or industry roles focused on finance and transformation.
• Proven background leading workstreams or sub-projects in complex transformation initiatives.
• Strong grasp of finance processes, management accounting, and performance steering methods.
• Working knowledge of AI-led finance transformation and the ways analytics, automation, and AI can improve finance operations and decision-making.
• Experience in agile delivery environments; familiarity with frameworks such as SAFe is useful for large-scale programs.
• Ability to work confidently with senior stakeholders across all levels, including CFOs, finance leaders, and executive sponsors.
• Exposure to contemporary finance technology environments such as Oracle, SAP S/4HANA, consolidation tools, reporting platforms, or treasury systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and clear structured communication.
• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
• Experience leading project teams or workstreams, including mentoring and developing junior colleagues.
• A strong academic background with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Information Technology.
• Fluent English is mandatory.
• Arabic language ability is an advantage.
