Role Summary
The Financial Analyst will oversee accounts payable monitoring and financial reporting activities, with a focus on accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of both financial and management reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Track the payables workflow in coordination with the global shared services team.
- Liaise with vendors to clear open items and outstanding issues.
- Examine contracts and agreements to confirm that payments align with agreed terms.
- Assess inventory valuation and the related cost of goods sold computations.
- Handle project reporting and asset capitalization activities.
- Support monthly and quarterly closing and reporting for US entities in line with Indian GAAP.
- Review balance sheet and profit and loss general ledger accounts and suggest corrective or provision entries where needed.
- Check balance sheet schedules covering intercompany balances, fixed assets, provisions, and other assets and liabilities.
- Prepare budgets and provide periodic variance analysis.
- Assist audits by supplying required information and schedules to the audit and consolidation teams.
- Prepare other management information reports as required.
Skills and Requirements
- Strong computer literacy with advanced use of Microsoft Office tools.
- Solid record-keeping and organizational ability.
- Comfortable working collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
- Clear, professional written and spoken communication skills.
- Capable of working to tight deadlines while managing priorities effectively.
- Prior exposure to ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP is preferred.
Education and Experience
A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting is required.
Physical and Workplace Conditions
This is an office-based position. While performing the role, the employee may need to stand, sit, speak, hear, and use hands and fingers for computer and telephone work, including reaching, stooping, and kneeling when installing computer equipment. The job requires close visual attention because of computer use, along with light to moderate lifting.
The work environment is a standard business office with computers, phones, printers, and light traffic, and includes moderate noise. The role is largely sedentary and may involve sitting at a computer terminal for extended periods. The position may require exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, with negligible force needed frequently or constantly.

Compensation
