Role overview
ACG Inspection is hiring a Financial Controller to strengthen financial governance across India and North America entities. This position is focused on controllership, compliance, accurate reporting, audit preparedness, internal controls, and risk oversight, while also supporting finance operations and business growth.
Job objective
The purpose of this role is to lead the controllership agenda by safeguarding financial accuracy, ensuring regulatory compliance, strengthening governance and risk management, and enabling efficient finance operations that support long-term growth.
Primary responsibilities
- Take ownership of financial accounting and overall controllership activities.
- Ensure month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes are completed on time.
- Manage management reporting along with cash flow and working capital reporting.
- Oversee statutory, internal, tax, transfer pricing, and stock audit activities.
- Maintain adherence to FEMA, RBI, STPI, and other applicable regulations.
- Handle direct and indirect tax matters.
- Evaluate accounting controls, reconciliations, and key risk areas.
- Lead process improvement efforts and automation initiatives.
- Work closely with Group Finance, Tax, Treasury, and Legal teams.
- Develop controllership capability within the team and support succession planning.

Education and experience
Applicants must be a qualified Chartered Accountant. A CA qualification combined with another diploma or degree in a finance-related stream is also acceptable. The role calls for at least 8 years of experience, preferably in manufacturing, pharma, or export-oriented industries. Experience of 10 to 15 years and exposure to multiple entities and audits is preferred.
