Job description
Role Overview
Ansco & Associates, LLC is hiring a Flagger to help keep public areas safe while work is underway. In this role, you will support traffic control activities and flagging operations around active job sites.

Key Duties
- Direct traffic around active work zones using hand signals and paddles
- Set up and organize flags, cones, signs, and marker equipment
- Assist with general construction tasks when directed by a foreman or supervisor
- Operate vehicles responsibly and follow safe-driving requirements set by the company
- Comply with local, state, and federal DOT rules and procedures
- Keep company vehicles and equipment clean and in good working condition
- Work outdoors in changing and sometimes difficult weather conditions
- Take on other assigned tasks as needed
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be authorized to work in the United States for this employer
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent relevant work experience
- Valid state driver’s license that is not provisional, along with an acceptable driving record
- Prior flagging experience is preferred
Physical Requirements
- Regularly work alone in remote locations and operate a vehicle
- Frequently bend, stoop, squeeze, stand, walk, climb stairs, and perform fine hand movements
- Regularly lift 10 to 25 pounds
- Occasionally work with arms above shoulder level
- Occasionally climb stairs and lift 26 to 55 pounds
- Use a keyboard and mouse as part of routine work
