Role Summary

This full-time remote position is for an experienced Floor Layer who can handle the installation, upkeep, and repair of a range of flooring systems. The work includes preparing subfloors, taking accurate measurements, cutting materials to size, fitting flooring to a high standard, and finishing jobs for clients across the country.

Core Duties

Install, maintain, and repair different flooring types, including vinyl, carpet, and wet room flooring.
Prepare subfloors before installation to ensure a proper finish.
Measure areas accurately and cut flooring materials accordingly.
Carry out installation work with precision and attention to detail.
Deliver completed flooring work that meets the company’s quality expectations.
Work on projects for nationwide commercial clients.

Required Experience and Skills

Practical ability in fitting sheet vinyl and carpets, along with a sound understanding of installation and maintenance methods.
Hands-on experience with carpet, hard flooring, and soft flooring products.
Capability in commercial flooring installation and upkeep.
Ability to read and interpret flooring plans.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Good problem-solving ability and the confidence to work alone or as part of a team.
Prior experience in commercial flooring is required.
