Job description

Role overview

Hallam Fields is looking to appoint a Forest Schools Leader to run Forest Schools sessions for all children across the school. The role is based at a school with extensive grounds and a long-standing commitment to Forest Schools provision.

About the setting

Forest School activities take place in the afternoons, and one afternoon is set aside for PPA. The school has built up a strong outdoor provision over many years, and the current site has been developed further through the work of the existing post holder. The school values these sessions for the positive impact they have on children’s and staff’s wellbeing and development.

What the role involves

In this position, you will deliver Forest Schools sessions within the school grounds, working with each class alongside the class teacher and teaching assistants.

Qualification needed

Applicants must hold a Level 3 Forest Schools Qualification.

Additional information

The closing date for applications is 01 July 2026. A provisional interview date has been set for 8 July 2026. School visits are welcomed by prior arrangement, and interested candidates should contact the school office to arrange an appointment. Further details about the school are available on its website.

Leave it if you'd like a reply — we won't use it for anything else.
