About the Role

Join the FP&A team as a Rotational Analyst for a two-year leadership program featuring three distinct rotations in Corporate, Product, and Operations FP&A. This role involves developing core finance skills while providing critical insights that influence Coinbase's resource allocation and strategic decision-making. The FP&A team is responsible for comprehensive forecasting and variance analysis across all financial lines, collaborating with various departments to identify risks, opportunities, and explain financial performance to senior leadership.

What You'll Do

• Conduct forecasting, variance analysis, and provide business insights to support partners in making timely decisions aligned with their team's roadmaps.
• Assist with key financial processes, including month-end and quarter-end close, earnings cycle preparation, and annual planning.
• Perform in-depth analyses on specific revenue or expense items, presenting clear recommendations to stakeholders.
• Develop and implement agent-assisted workflows for planning, podding, and variance analysis to automate repetitive data tasks, allowing for greater focus on strategic thinking and business partnership.
• Drive process improvements across the FP&A organization by transferring best practices between rotations and acting as a catalyst for change.

Required Skills and Experience

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, with academic or practical experience in financial analysis or modeling.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial data into easily understandable narratives for diverse audiences, gained through academic, internship, or professional experiences.
• Familiarity with data analysis and automation tools such as SQL, Python, or similar.
• Exposure to blockchain, cryptocurrency markets, or fintech through education, personal investment, or previous work.
• Proficient in the responsible use of generative AI, ensuring human oversight for business-ready outputs and measurable improvements in efficiency, cost, and quality.

Additional Information

The annual base salary range for this position is $95,030 to $111,800 USD, excluding equity and bonus eligibility. Total compensation may also include equity, bonus, and benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Candidates are limited to a maximum of four applications within any 30-day period.
