FPI Inspector

About the Role

A multinational aerospace company is seeking a skilled FPI Inspector to join their team in East Singapore. This full-time, onsite position involves performing Fluorescent Penetrant Inspections on aircraft engine components, ensuring adherence to strict quality standards and safety regulations. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to identify defects according to established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conducting Fluorescent Penetrant Inspections (FPI) on aircraft engine parts.
• Examining components for any cracks or imperfections using operation sheets and established procedures.
• Carefully reviewing and adhering to test instructions and specific testing requirements.
• Applying necessary cleaning chemicals, penetrants, and developers prior to inspection.
• Strictly following all non-destructive testing (NDT) protocols and safety guidelines.
• Ensuring the cleanliness of inspection equipment and the work environment.
• Assisting with other tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Possession of ASNT Level 2, NAS 410 Level 2, or PCN Level 2 certification in FPI is mandatory.
• A minimum of one year of experience within the aerospace sector is preferred.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required for effective communication.
• Ability to interpret and read technical drawings.
• Comfortable collaborating with engineers and the production team.
• Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office applications is advantageous.

Additional Information

This role operates on a 5-day work week, totaling 44 hours per week. Overtime opportunities are available. The position is based in East Singapore.
