About the Role

Mindrift is hiring experienced Python Data Scraping Engineers for the Tendem project. This freelance, part-time remote position focuses on building and running specialized scraping workflows inside a hybrid setup where AI handles repetitive work and you contribute technical judgment, domain knowledge, and quality control.

The role suits technical professionals who have practical experience in web scraping, data extraction, and data processing. As an AI Pilot, you will work with Tendem Agents and use tools such as Apify and OpenRouter, while also applying your own approaches to complete challenging extraction tasks.

What the Work Involves

You will be responsible for extracting, validating, and structuring data from complex websites with a strong focus on completeness, reliability, and accuracy. The work includes handling dynamic pages, large-scale workflows, and sites that may change their structure over time.

Responsibilities

• Manage data extraction workflows from start to finish across complex websites, making sure the output is complete, accurate, and delivered in a structured format.
• Use internal tools such as Apify and OpenRouter, along with custom automation approaches, to speed up collection, validation, and execution while meeting project requirements.
• Work with dynamic and interactive web sources, including JavaScript-rendered pages and sites that change behavior over time.
• Apply quality checks to confirm consistency across sources, follow formatting rules, and verify data carefully before submission.
• Support high-volume scraping through batching or parallel processing, track failures, and keep workflows stable even when websites change slightly.

Compensation

This project offers earning potential of up to the equivalent of $37 per hour, depending on your contribution level and pace. Pay can vary by project based on scope, complexity, and expertise required.

Eligibility

Applicants should have strong English skills at upper-intermediate level (B2) or higher.
