Job description
About Arcavia Consulting
Arcavia Consulting is a specialist recruitment and headhunting firm focused on the design and construction sector in the UK, Europe, and the US. The team supports well-known contractors, consultancies, and design businesses in hiring senior professionals across project delivery, commercial, work winning, planning, and design.
The company is currently strengthening its brand and content presence and is seeking a freelance graphic designer to help shape the visual output across white papers, website pages, and broader brand assets.
Role Overview
This is a flexible freelance position centered on creating polished, high-quality marketing and brand materials. The designer will work directly with the founder to turn ideas, research, and written material into professional creative outputs. The role is a strong fit for someone at an early stage in their career who wants practical exposure to branding, content, and web work.
Key Responsibilities
- Create visually strong industry white papers and reports by transforming research and copy into clear, well-structured layouts.
- Develop and update the Arcavia website using HubSpot.
- Contribute to the evolution of the brand, including visual identity elements, templates, and marketing assets.
- Design supporting materials for campaigns, social media, and outreach activities when required.
What the Client Is Looking For
The ideal candidate should have solid design ability, with a strong sense of layout, typography, and clean professional presentation. Experience or confidence with building pages in HubSpot is useful, though the company is open to someone who can learn quickly. A strong interest in branding and marketing is important, along with the ability to think commercially rather than simply follow instructions.
The role also calls for someone dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a remote setup. A portfolio is essential, and examples of document or report design would be especially valuable.
Who This Role Suits
This opportunity is well suited to someone looking for real-world marketing experience from a junior or early-career starting point. It offers exposure to brand, content, and web projects that are often difficult to access in entry-level roles. The arrangement is flexible and can sit alongside other freelance, portfolio, or part-time commitments.
Additional Information
This is a part-time freelance opportunity offered on a remote basis for candidates in the UK. The role is described as flexible, with working hours that can be adapted around the successful candidate.
How to Apply
Interested candidates are expected to submit a CV along with a portfolio example.
