Role Overview
City Centre Rotana in Doha is seeking a motivated and energetic Front Office professional to join the team as a Front Desk Agent. The role focuses on delivering polished, guest-centered service that helps create a smooth and memorable stay.
What You Will Do
- Deliver fast, courteous, and efficient support to guests from arrival through departure, with the goal of ensuring a high level of satisfaction through personalized attention.
- Welcome guests by name whenever possible and accompany them to their room so they feel anticipated and well received.
- Carry out room and hotel orientation, and assist guests with questions or requests related to hotel activities.
- Keep current with hotel details and local information, including opening hours, offers, events, attractions, and other useful updates needed to answer guest queries.
- Stay aware of daily room rates and occupancy levels.
- Handle front desk cashiering accurately and follow all established systems, policies, and procedures.
- Process guest accounts from check-in to check-out and ensure all incidental charges are posted correctly using computerized front office systems.
- Protect guest privacy by ensuring personal information is not disclosed.
- Maintain a strong understanding of hotel policies, procedures, service standards, facilities, and daily happenings.
Education, Experience, and Skills
The suitable candidate should hold a hospitality degree and have prior experience working in a hotel front office. Strong written and spoken English is essential, and additional language ability is also important. Good interpersonal skills and solid problem-solving ability are required. Computer literacy is necessary, and prior experience with Opera will be considered an advantage.
