Full Time Facility Cleaner

About the Role

This opportunity is for dependable, motivated full-time facility cleaners to join a professional cleaning team supporting a premium aged care setting in Dapto, New South Wales. The role is centered on maintaining a safe, pleasant, and sanitary environment for elderly residents, where your efforts have a direct impact on their comfort, dignity, and overall wellbeing.

The working schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm.

Location: Dapto, NSW.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to residents’ daily comfort and wellbeing through thorough cleaning standards.
• Keep all public-facing and staff/service areas tidy, sanitary, and inviting.
• Carry out both regular and deep-cleaning duties in line with schedules and standard operating procedures.
• Help reduce infection risk by disinfecting high-touch points and completing several sanitisation rounds each day.
• Handle rubbish disposal safely, including removing waste and replacing bin liners.
• Work productively on your own while also contributing positively to a supportive team environment.

Requirements

• Prior experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping is preferred.
• Good knowledge of cleaning safety practices, chemical handling, and hygiene standards.
• Genuine interest in supporting others and maintaining a caring atmosphere.
• Strong attention to detail and effective time management.
• Professional personal presentation and solid communication skills.
• Current COVID-19 vaccination with 2 doses and an up-to-date influenza vaccination.
• NDIS Worker Check, or readiness to obtain one.
• Valid Police Check.
• Ability to follow workplace health and safety requirements.
