Full Time Security Officer

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $21.00 to $23.25 per hour.

What You’ll Do

• Resolve conflicts and help calm tense situations
• Interact regularly with client staff and visitors
• Spot, document, and escalate safety concerns, hazards, or suspicious behavior
• Follow post instructions and complete assigned patrols
• Walk or drive the site to look for unsafe conditions, open doors, security breaches, blocked access points, and unauthorized individuals
• Prepare detailed incident reports covering unauthorized access, unusual activity, emergencies, and other observed issues
• Handle additional duties of similar scope as needed for the site

Basic Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED is required
• Strong computer and technology skills are expected
• Background in security, law enforcement, or the military is preferred
• Excellent customer service and team leadership abilities are important
• Ability to stay composed and professional under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and consistent alertness throughout the shift
• Capability to respond quickly and appropriately during emergencies
• Willingness to complete pre-employment screening, including a drug test and background check

The role may involve access to daily wages before payday for certain groups, subject to restrictions and fees. Waiting periods may apply.
