Role overviewAs part of the Google Cloud Platform sales organization, you will help businesses move away from the complexity of managing infrastructure, server provisioning, and network setup by adopting Google’s cloud offerings. In this role, you will also support Small and Medium Businesses in improving productivity and operational efficiency through Google Cloud’s agentic and generative AI solutions. Your enthusiasm for Google products will help extend Google’s reach across organizations.Google Cloud helps companies and public organizations worldwide modernize digitally. Customers in over 200 countries and territories rely on Google Cloud to solve critical business challenges and drive growth.Minimum qualificationsA bachelor’s degree or an equivalent level of practical experience is required.At least 4 years of experience selling Infrastructure-as-a-Service or Platform-as-a-Service solutions, as well as AI/agentic products, within the technology sector.Background in working with traditional, non-digital-native businesses in India.Hands-on experience in cloud sales and consultative selling.Preferred qualificationsExperience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce.Exposure to technical or sales engineering work in Computer Science or Information Systems, along with a solid understanding of the technology and cloud computing market.Strong interest in Google Cloud offerings, including Google Workspace and Google Cloud Platform.Ability to think strategically while also managing day-to-day operational details, with strong organizational and project management capabilities.Consistently goal-focused, self-assured, and detail-oriented.Capability to develop strong influence-based relationships and drive outcomes in a cross-functional or matrixed environment.ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of territory-level and account-level business targets for the assigned portfolio.Handle opportunities across the full sales cycle at the same time, coordinate with cross-functional teams when needed, and act as the main customer point of contact for adoption-related matters.Generate business growth, build forecasts, and deliver against targets by guiding customers through the complete buying process.Partner closely with Customer Engineers and Google Cloud Partners to strengthen sales outcomes and create opportunities with small and medium businesses.Work with marketing, sales development, and other teams to create a comprehensive territory plan and execute it to expand the assigned market.Equal opportunity statementGoogle is an equal opportunity employer and promotes fair hiring practices for all candidates.
