Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Fleet Support Team for F/A-18A-F and EA-18G at FRCSW, coordinating a broad mix of engineers, scientists, technicians, logisticians, and business financial managers.
  • Act as the primary decision-maker for planning, reviewing, and assessing work, while remaining accountable for the delivery and effectiveness of the in-service support program.
  • Run trade studies and continuous improvement efforts to compare technical alternatives and identify process enhancements that help resolve operational issues.
  • Create program planning goals and management approaches for both near-term and long-range initiatives covering a 5- to 10-year horizon.
  • Assess how changes in available resources, including budget shifts and revised estimates tied to new objectives, technical capabilities, or acquisition strategies, affect program execution.
  • Lead the preparation of contract engineering specifications that outline support requirements and parameters, and oversee the creation of procurement requests and requests for proposals.
  • Track project progress, judge whether established objectives are viable, and determine staffing, technical, and resource needs for new projects.
