Key duties
- Move items around the plant using powered handling equipment.
- Manually carry raw materials, finished goods, and equipment through the facility.
- Inspect, check, and weigh materials and products.
- Sort, pack, crate, and prepare materials and finished products for shipment or storage.
- Carry out other basic labour tasks as needed.
- Clean machines and maintain nearby work areas.
Manufacturing experience
Experience in the food manufacturing sector is required.
Additional requirements
A criminal record check is required.
Work conditions
The role involves independent work, a fast-paced setting, repetitive tasks, heavy lifting, physically demanding activity, manual dexterity, close attention to detail, prolonged standing, a mix of sitting, standing, and walking, and working under pressure.
Weight handling
