About the Organization
IMMUNE Technology Institute is a technology education provider with campuses in Madrid and Riyadh. It delivers innovative learning programmes together with corporate partners across six core fields: Data & AI (Google), Coding (HP), Cybersecurity (Santander), UX/UI, Blockchain (Alastria), and Cloud (AWS). Its offering spans bootcamps and executive learning designed to build practical, job-ready capabilities in today’s most sought-after technologies.
The institute works with more than 100 companies in different ways. It is now creating IMMUNE SAUDI to expand talent opportunities in the Kingdom. The goal is to prepare the next generation of Saudi tech professionals, support national digital transformation, reduce reliance on imported expertise, and strengthen a local innovation ecosystem. The organization also welcomes applications from all qualified candidates in line with Vision 2030’s objectives around gender equality and diversity.
Role Overview
The General Manager will serve as the founding leader for IMMUNE’s Saudi Arabia chapter. This is a high-impact position at the intersection of education, technology, and nation-building, with direct reporting to the IMMUNE Saudi Board and complete ownership of the business P&L.
Key Responsibilities
You will set the strategy, establish the operating model, and drive growth for the Riyadh entity while ensuring strong compliance and market fit.
- Build and deliver a 3-year strategic plan for IMMUNE Riyadh, aligned with Vision 2030 and designed to position the institute as a preferred partner for leading Saudi organizations such as Aramco, STC, NEOM, and PIF.
- Represent the company with government and regulatory stakeholders, personally managing the full TVTC journey from campus licensing through programme accreditation and ongoing compliance.
- Recruit, develop, and lead the executive team, including the CAO and heads of Sales, Marketing, and Operations, while fostering a high-performance culture and surpassing 50% Saudization targets.
- Own the full P&L, including revenue growth, profitability, budgeting, forecasting, and EBITDA performance.
- Lead B2B and B2G business development, secure strategic training partnerships with major corporations and public-sector bodies such as HRDF and MCIT, and oversee the B2C approach.
- Manage the end-to-end launch of the 1,000m² Riyadh campus, including specialist labs for Cloud, Cyber, and Data, and ensure the localized curriculum supports an 85%+ graduate employment rate.
What You Need to Succeed
The ideal candidate combines entrepreneurial leadership with deep Saudi market knowledge and the ability to operate across senior stakeholders, regulation, and commercial growth.
- Demonstrated experience building and scaling an organization from the ground up, with the resilience to work through ambiguity and complexity.
- Hands-on exposure to Saudi government entities such as TVTC, MHRSD, and MISA, along with the ability to interpret regulations and implement compliant operations.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder-management skills, including credibility with senior Saudi decision-makers and an understanding of local business culture, hierarchy, etiquette, and networking norms.
- Ability to bridge European tech-culture with the Saudi context while preserving IMMUNE’s core identity.
- Solid P&L management experience covering forecasting, cost discipline, and budget planning, with knowledge of Saudi financial systems including VAT and ZATCA.
- Proven people leadership capability, with a history of hiring, coaching, and scaling strong teams in the Saudi market.
- Comfort working in matrix structures with dual reporting lines and alignment between Riyadh and a European headquarters.
Qualifications and Background
- A bachelor’s degree is required in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline.
- A master’s degree such as an MBA, M.Eng, or M.Ed is strongly preferred.
- 12–15+ years of overall professional experience, including at least 5–7 years in a senior leadership position such as General Manager or Country Director.
- At least 5 years of living and working in Saudi Arabia is mandatory, with recent in-country experience preferred.
- Full bilingual fluency in Arabic and English is essential, both spoken and written; Arabic should be native or near-native level and English professional level. Additional languages are an advantage.
- Background in one or more of the following sectors is preferred: Education/EdTech, Technology, Professional Services, or a fast-growing startup environment.
- Strong understanding of Saudi labour law, Saudization/Nitaqat requirements, and regulatory compliance; direct TVTC expertise is especially valuable.
- High financial acumen and a data-led approach to decision-making.
Compensation and Offer
The role comes with clearly defined quantitative and qualitative KPIs tied to growth, compliance, and team development. The package includes a highly competitive base salary plus bonus.
