General Production

Overview

Join Cargill’s protein and salt business in Ingersoll, Ontario, and be part of a global workforce focused on safe, responsible, and sustainable food production. The team supplies high-quality food products to foodservice businesses, grocery retailers, manufacturers, and exporters.

This role is a full-time, on-site production position with varied shifts available and a starting wage of $26.50 per hour. The expected start date is as soon as possible.

What you will do

• Carry out daily production tasks such as cutting, packing, picking, sorting, and transporting product.
• Support product quality and output to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Work in refrigerated conditions between 0 and 4°C.
• Handle materials weighing approximately 20 to 60 lbs.
• Work comfortably with raw beef, pork, and chicken.
• Remain on your feet for 8 to 10 hours and perform repetitive physical work in a busy production setting.
• Follow all company safety rules and procedures.
• Take on additional tasks assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• You must be legally allowed to work in Canada.
• You need to be at least 18 years old.

Preferred background

• Previous experience in food processing or production is an asset.
