About the role
Dear Media is hiring a Graphic Designer to join its creative team in West Hollywood, CA or Austin, TX. This position works closely with the Lead Graphic Designer to support visual needs across social, production, sales, and editorial work. The ideal candidate is collaborative, highly detail-focused, and excited to contribute new ideas while helping strengthen and evolve the Dear Media brand.
This opportunity is well suited to a designer who wants to grow in a fast-moving media environment and gain experience both in concept development and in executing established brand guidelines.
Key responsibilities
- Create eye-catching social media graphics for network shows and maintain reusable design templates for marketing efforts.
- Partner with the Lead Graphic Designer on cover art exploration and concepting for new podcast launches.
- Help update and design sales decks, presentations, and other marketing materials for company initiatives.
- Find and choose strong visual assets for the editorial website.
- Develop digital and production assets for new show launches, including social graphics, web banners, title cards, and thumbnails that match each show’s cover art direction.
- Contribute fresh design ideas and current visual trends to keep the brand’s social and marketing presence modern and elevated.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of professional design experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Solid foundation in layout, typography, color theory, and current pop culture and media design trends.
- Ability to accept feedback well and incorporate edits smoothly in a team setting.
- Careful attention to detail to ensure work is accurate before final approval.
- Bonus: experience with After Effects and Premiere Pro is a plus, though not required.

- Able to thrive in a deadline-driven, high-speed media environment while maintaining professionalism when designing for talent and creators.
