Remedy Science is a skincare brand founded by a dermatologist, built on the idea that skincare can be significantly better when it is science-led, smarter, and centered on the customer. The brand focuses on earning trust through thoughtful products and clear, credible communication. Remedy Science sells through DTC via Shopify, TikTok Shop, Amazon, and retail, and the business continues to grow.

Position Overview

Remedy Science is looking for a highly imaginative and detail-driven Graphic Designer to join the creative team and report to the Creative Director. This is not just an execution role; it calls for someone who can solve design challenges and turn brand strategy into strong visual creative across digital channels, including e-commerce, social media, and paid campaigns.

The right candidate will bring strong aesthetic judgment, strategic thinking, and awareness of culture and trends, while helping maintain and evolve a clinical, polished, and high-standard brand identity.

Design and Creative Execution

  • Turn creative direction into refined, high-quality visual work for digital platforms and retail channels.
  • Keep all design output consistent with Remedy Science’s brand standards and visual quality expectations.
  • Maintain and develop the brand’s clinical but elevated look, with careful attention to clarity, precision, and finish.
  • Create not only individual assets but also broader visual systems and concepts.
  • Approach each assignment with a problem-solving mindset, balancing creativity with performance and usability.
  • Produce a variety of deliverables such as e-commerce graphics, social content, paid media assets, and campaign visuals.

Collaboration and Strategy

  • Work closely with the Creative, E-commerce, and Marketing teams so the design work supports business objectives and brand storytelling.
  • Help shape ideas and concepts by contributing fresh thinking and creative solutions.
  • Convert briefs into clear, effective, and engaging visual outputs.

Culture and Trends

  • Keep up with current design trends, social media behavior, and visual culture.
  • Stay aware of new formats, aesthetic directions, and platform-specific design styles.
  • Help push the brand forward by applying relevant and forward-looking creative approaches.

Production and Execution

  • Handle several projects at once while staying organized, detail-focused, and on schedule.
  • Provide light photo and video editing support, including motion graphics and text overlays when needed.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, or a closely related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in digital design or a similar position.
  • A portfolio that shows both strong visual quality and conceptual thinking.
  • A solid grasp of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.
  • A strong sense for photography, composition, and digital design systems.
  • Experience in skincare, beauty, or lifestyle brands is considered an advantage.
  • Strong creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think beyond simple execution.
  • Ability to combine clinical precision with a polished, sensory visual style.
  • A strong commitment to craft, consistency, and attention to detail.
  • Good awareness of social media trends, digital culture, and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills across departments.
  • Technical proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Working knowledge of After Effects, Premiere Pro, and/or Final Cut Pro.
  • Familiarity with digital asset management and project management platforms such as Asana.

Additional Information

This is a full-time, onsite role based in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area.
