Role Overview
A leading multinational retailer is looking for a creative Graphic Designer to join its marketing team. The role focuses on shaping the brand through engaging consumer-facing and internal design assets, while working with different teams to deliver a consistent visual experience across multiple channels.
This position is fully remote, but the selected candidate must live in the Greater Toronto Area so they can take part in occasional in-person collaboration when needed. The start date is ASAP. This is an existing position, and AI will not be used to screen candidates for this hire.
Compensation
The salary for this role is CAD 50,000 to CAD 60,000 base pay, plus an annual performance bonus.
Responsibilities
- Create eye-catching design assets for integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional platforms.
- Support a consistent brand look and feel across customer-facing and internal communications.
- Turn strategic business goals into clear and visually effective materials for target audiences.
- Work with internal partners on a range of marketing and creative requests.
- Build presentations and other supporting documents for cross-functional teams.
- Help execute special projects and company initiatives as needed.
- Provide creative support for launches, promotions, and new initiatives.
Requirements
- A post-secondary degree or diploma in Graphic Design or a related field.
- Between 1 and 3 years of experience in graphic design, ideally in a consumer-focused company or agency environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe After Effects.
- Experience using Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Ability to prepare creative assets for both print and digital use.
- Exposure to Premiere Pro, Canva, photography, and/or videography will be considered an advantage.
- High attention to detail, with strong organization and time management skills.
- Self-driven, curious, and comfortable finding practical solutions.
- Team-oriented and able to collaborate effectively across functions.
