Job description

Role overview

This is a remote design opportunity for an Australia-based graphic designer who can turn complex B2B information into clear, polished visual assets. The work centers on translating research, data, and strategic ideas into formats such as reports, ebooks, whitepapers, social media creatives, infographics, custom diagrams, and print magazines.

You will operate in a fast-moving, experimental environment where creative thinking needs to work hand in hand with structure, brand consistency, and deadline discipline. The role involves close coordination with writers, editors, marketers, and strategists so that each design strengthens the message and makes technical or dense content easier to understand. You will be expected to manage your work independently from concept through final delivery while maintaining a high standard across multiple active projects.

Key accountabilities

  • Create visually strong reports, ebooks, research papers, and whitepapers that follow both client and internal brand directions.
  • Turn datasets, frameworks, and research findings into intuitive visual stories, diagrams, and infographics.
  • Build custom visual systems and diagrams, starting from rough ideas and developing them into refined final assets.
  • Contribute to or lead the design of print magazines alongside editorial teams, with emphasis on layout and narrative flow.
  • Produce consistent digital and social media graphics tailored for multiple client channels.
  • Handle several projects at once while delivering on time and protecting design quality.
  • Work closely with cross-functional partners such as writers, editors, marketers, and strategists to keep visuals aligned with the overall communication goal.

Required experience and capabilities

  • Background in graphic design with a strong portfolio covering both digital and print work.
  • Hands-on skill with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, as well as Figma.
  • Ability to communicate complex or technical ideas through clean, engaging visual design.
  • Strong eye for detail and the ability to refine concepts into production-ready artwork.
  • Comfort managing competing priorities and deadlines in a remote, fast-paced setting.
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach to feedback and iteration.
  • Self-managed work style with ownership from initial concept to finished delivery.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude suited to cross-functional collaboration.

Benefits and working style

  • Fully remote, contract-based arrangement with opportunities to collaborate globally.
  • High autonomy over both projects and schedule.
  • Exposure to varied, intellectually engaging B2B content and design challenges.
  • Chance to work with experienced professionals in marketing, editorial, and strategy roles from leading global organizations.
  • Room to experiment and help shape innovative design methods in a dynamic environment.
  • Flexible work structure that supports independent delivery and workflow.

By submitting an application, candidates acknowledge that personal data may be processed to evaluate candidacy and to share relevant details with the hiring employer. This may be based on legitimate interest and pre-contractual steps under applicable data protection laws, including GDPR.
