Grocery Associate

Role overview

As a Grocery Associate with Walmart Canada, you will help keep the grocery department organized, well-stocked, and easy for customers to shop. This role is a strong fit if you want to build experience in retail and customer service while working in a fast-paced store environment.

Key duties

• Keep the grocery section tidy and zoned for shopping.
• Check stock rotation and remove items that have passed their expiry date.
• Make sure products are correctly labeled and priced.
• Follow food safety, safe handling, sanitation, and cleaning standards.
• Carry out ordering, clearance, markdown, markup, signing, flagging, pricing, and label-related processes correctly.
• Ensure the department stays replenished and ready for customers throughout the day.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
• Restock items, downstock when needed, use product protection as required, and complete modular setups, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.

Pay

The starting hourly wage for this role is $15.50.
