Group Treasury Manager

About the Role

A prominent, large-scale conglomerate is looking for a strategic and adept Treasury Professional to manage its extensive treasury operations. This role involves optimizing funding strategies and enhancing fiscal efficiency across all its business units. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in guiding the group's financial health and strategic financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily cash positions, forecast cash flows, and manage working capital cycles effectively.
• Maximize returns on corporate surplus cash by investing with commercial banks.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local and international financial institutions to secure favorable credit facilities and loans.
• Monitor and manage financial market risks, implementing effective foreign exchange (FX) and interest rate hedging strategies.
• Collaborate with the Group CFO to offer data-driven insights and financial modeling for capital structure, long-term financing, and expansion initiatives.
• Direct the management of corporate insurance portfolios and oversee trade finance activities, including the issuance of Letters of Credit (L/Cs) and Letters of Guarantee (L/Gs).
• Ensure rigorous compliance with internal finance policies, external banking covenants, and financial regulatory frameworks specific to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Role Requirements

• Possess a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in corporate treasury, with a demonstrated track record in a similar corporate-level capacity.
• A background in corporate or commercial banking during the early stages of one's career is highly advantageous.
• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related financial field.
• Exhibit complete professional fluency in both Arabic and English, encompassing written and verbal communication.
