Job description
Role Overview
This position is for a sanitation worker at Pilgrim's hatchery in Bowdon, Georgia. The job focuses on keeping production spaces clean, sanitary, and ready for safe operations.
Primary Duties
- Clean and sanitize production areas.
- Complete all required safety training related to the assignment.
- Finish all required food safety and GMP training for the role.
Work Conditions
- Work in refrigerated areas where temperatures can range from 10°F to 40°F.
- Remain on your feet for long periods.
- Handle lifting tasks of up to 40 lbs.
- Perform repetitive tasks in a busy, fast-moving setting.
- Be available for overtime when needed.
Skills and Background
A high school diploma or GED is preferred. Prior experience in manufacturing is also preferred.
