Role overview
This position is for a seasoned Head Barista to oversee a non-alcoholic bar serving a Hawaiian-Asian menu. The role focuses on preparing high-quality coffee drinks and inventive mocktails while maintaining consistency, creativity, and strong service standards across the beverage station.
Key responsibilities
- Create and present specialty coffee drinks, cold brews, and house mocktails.
- Refine and refresh the beverage menu to match seasonal changes and brand direction.
- Guide, train, and supervise the barista team to maintain consistent execution.
- Keep bar equipment in proper working condition through routine cleaning and calibration.
- Track inventory, place orders, and manage stock for bar and beverage supplies.
- Ensure hygiene, sanitation, and food safety procedures are followed at all times.
Requirements
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience as a barista, with a strong background in specialty coffee.
- Hands-on experience preparing mocktails and other non-alcoholic beverages.
- Ability to lead, coach, and support a team in a busy service environment.
- Solid understanding of espresso preparation, brewing techniques, and milk texturing.
- Comfortable communicating in English.
- Strong working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices.
- Creative mindset, attention to detail, and enthusiasm for beverage development.
