Main duties

• Load the van safely, including handling heavier items and following manual handling guidance.
• Drive responsibly at all times and follow safe driving practices.
• Carry out daily checks on the delivery vehicle before starting routes.
• Make sure groceries reach customers in excellent condition.
• Deliver friendly, professional service as the customer-facing representative of the store.
• Support in-store tasks when additional help is needed.
• Work on your own and manage time effectively to complete deliveries on schedule.
• Be flexible to cover shifts that may fall anywhere between 6:00 am and 11:00 pm.

Candidate profile

• You must hold a full driving licence that has been valid for at least 3 years.
• You should have no more than 6 penalty points on your licence.
• You need a positive, approachable attitude and a genuine focus on customer satisfaction.
• You should be reliable, punctual, and able to meet deadlines.
• A strong understanding of road safety is essential.
