Role overview
Seaham Hall in County Durham is looking for a Housekeeper to join its lively housekeeping operation. The role focuses on maintaining excellent cleaning standards across guest accommodation and the hotel’s public facilities.
Working hours
This position offers 0 to 32 hours per week. Shifts run between 10:00am and 3:00pm and may be either part-time or full-time. Weekend and bank holiday work is included.
Reporting line
The role works closely with the General Manager and the housekeeping team.
What the role involves
- Deliver high-quality housekeeping and cleaning across guest rooms and hotel facilities.
- Help maintain the property’s 5-star service standards through careful attention to detail.
- Work professionally with managers, colleagues, and guests.
- Contribute both as part of a team and independently as needed.
- Present yourself well and consistently uphold a high standard of professionalism.
Candidate profile
- Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication abilities are important.
- You should be detail-focused and committed to maintaining premium standards.
- A professional approach when dealing with management, staff, and guests is essential.
- You need to be comfortable working collaboratively and on your own.
- Because of the location, access to transport is required.
Pay
Compensation is offered at up to £12.71 per hour, with the exact rate depending on experience and confirmed at interview.
