Housekeeping duties

• Clean guest rooms along with shared spaces such as corridors, lobbies, staircases, and elevators.
• Plan daily work based on room status, guest arrivals, and departures.
• Move and deliver linens, towels, and in-room supplies using carts or by hand.
• Replenish room amenities including drinking glasses, soap, shampoo, and writing items.
• Swap used linens for fresh ones.
• Check mattresses and rotate them on a regular basis.
• Handle soiled laundry according to company procedures.

Experience and knowledge

Prior housekeeping background is preferred. A working understanding of cleaning and sanitation chemicals, cleaning techniques, sensitive materials, and the use of cleaning equipment is important. The role also calls for physical capability to reach, bend, and kneel as needed, plus the strength to lift, push, and pull loads of about 30 lbs.

Education and pay

A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification is preferred. Compensation is negotiable based on experience.
