Overview

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Housekeeper for a long-term care facility in Beckley, West Virginia. In this role, you’ll help create and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming setting for residents, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities

  • Carry out everyday housekeeping duties such as cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, shared spaces, and administrative offices.
  • Clean and sanitize assigned areas in line with established procedures and safety standards.
  • Keep accurate records of completed cleaning work and escalate maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor.
  • Apply infection prevention practices and universal precautions to help maintain a hygienic environment.
  • Communicate courteously with residents, employees, and guests while delivering strong customer service.
  • Take on any additional duties assigned by the team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or an equivalent credential.
  • Housekeeping background is an advantage, though not mandatory.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to communicate effectively with occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
  • Willingness to comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
  • Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Physical capability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for long periods.
  • Comfort with repetitive tasks performed continuously.
  • Ability to work around cleaning chemicals and products.
  • Capacity to follow spoken and written instructions and perform routine tasks consistently.
  • Residency within the service area is required.
