What the job involves

In this position, you will maintain accommodation rooms, village amenities and shared spaces to a consistently high standard. The work is hands-on, physically active and often fast-paced, so reliability, consistency and a sharp eye for detail are essential.

You will work closely with the housekeeping team to ensure residents return each day to clean, orderly and welcoming facilities.

Key duties

• Clean and service accommodation rooms, bathrooms and village areas
• Make beds, replace linen and assist with laundry tasks
• Keep all spaces clean, presentable and maintained to a high standard
• Finish assigned cleaning schedules within set deadlines
• Maintain consistent housekeeping standards across the village
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely and in line with procedure
• Track and restock housekeeping supplies as needed
• Flag maintenance problems as soon as they are identified
• Work with teammates to meet daily productivity targets

You should be an experienced FIFO Housekeeper who understands the value of dependable routines, detailed work and high presentation standards. Pride in your work, a strong team mindset and an appreciation for the role housekeeping plays in resident comfort are important for success in this role.

Requirements

• Prior FIFO housekeeping experience is essential
• Solid knowledge of cleaning methods, hygiene practices and safety expectations
• Comfortable working in a busy, high-output environment
• Careful attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work safely and efficiently within established procedures
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others
• Unlimited Australian working rights
• Current C Class driver's licence
• Ability to complete a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
• Current National Police Clearance issued within the past three months
• Must be able to FIFO from Perth or travel to Perth for rostered flights
