Teleflex is hiring an HR Administrator for its site in County Westmeath, Ireland.
Role Summary
This position acts as a key HR support partner for the Irish site, delivering responsive administrative and coordination assistance across the employee lifecycle. The role covers recruitment, onboarding, employee relations support, performance management, HR projects, reporting, and day-to-day HR service delivery. The aim is to keep HR processes accurate, compliant, efficient, and aligned with business goals while supporting a positive experience for employees and managers.
Key Responsibilities
The HR Administrator will manage a broad mix of HR operations, reporting, and coordination tasks. This includes maintaining HR metrics and records, supporting attendance reporting, assisting with salary review activities and TCM cycles, and handling first-line HR queries from employees and managers. The role also involves helping with employee relations cases such as grievances, disciplinary matters, and appeals by preparing paperwork, taking notes, and supporting the process.
Recruitment and onboarding responsibilities include supporting vacancy creation, approvals, job advertising, interview scheduling, contract preparation, offer paperwork, onboarding materials, IT and system access setup, ID badge creation, and welcome communications. The role also requires keeping recruitment trackers updated, sharing progress with hiring managers and the HR team, and supporting exit interviews.
In addition, the role contributes to HR projects and employee initiatives such as neurodiversity, Junior Achievement, gender pay gap and pay transparency work, wellness activities, policy updates, and organisational integration projects. The administrator will also help coordinate engagement, wellbeing, internal communications, company events, policy reviews, and continuous improvement activities.
Additional Information
The role includes coordination with the EMEA HR team, EMEA headquarters support functions, and business units. It also requires approximately 10% travel.
Teleflex is an equal opportunity employer and considers applicants without discrimination on the basis of age, gender, race, nationality, ethnicity, civil status, family status, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or membership of the traveller community. If accommodation or support is needed during the application process, candidates may contact the company at [email protected].
The company also states that it does not accept unsolicited resumes from agency recruiters or third-party firms, does not make unsolicited job offers, and does not request money or require candidates to buy equipment in advance.
Teleflex emphasises inclusion, diversity, and a workplace culture where employees can bring their authentic selves to work.
Education and Experience
A relevant third-level qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline is required. A CIPD qualification, or progress toward one, is considered an advantage. Candidates should have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in an HR administration or coordination role in a fast-moving environment. Experience across the full employee lifecycle, HR and benefits administration, HRIS reporting, employee relations processes, project coordination, and employee event support is preferred.
Skills and Personal Attributes
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, accurate, and comfortable handling multiple priorities at once. Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills are needed, along with the ability to analyse and report on data. The role also calls for strong communication, discretion, professionalism, problem-solving ability, and confidence when dealing with managers and senior stakeholders. A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are important. Experience with psychometric assessments is desirable.
Working Style
The role is suited to someone who can thrive in a busy environment, use sound judgment, and contribute ideas for improving HR processes and employee experience.
