Job description

Role Overview

This Human Resources Executive position in Doha is a full-time, non-management role within the Human Resources function at The Ritz-Carlton. The job is based at Ras Abu Abboud Street, Doha, Qatar, and is not a remote role.

Key Responsibilities

You will support day-to-day HR operations by tracking employee relations matters, following up on resolutions, and assisting leaders with people-related issues. The role also involves reviewing recruitment activity for compliance with applicable local, state, federal, and company requirements, while keeping HR leadership informed of employee relations concerns.

In addition, you will respond to employee and manager queries about HR policies, programs, and guidelines, share information related to employee relations and personnel programs, and maintain accurate employee records and files such as interview documents and I-9 forms. You will also help organize annual employee surveys, manage scheduling and administrative coordination, and handle incoming calls and messages.

The position further includes supporting managers with hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluation, counseling, discipline, and employee motivation. You are expected to observe company safety and security procedures, report accidents or unsafe situations, protect confidential information, greet guests professionally, communicate clearly, and maintain cooperative working relationships across the team. You may also be asked to carry out additional duties assigned by supervisors.

Preferred Qualification

The preferred educational background is a high school diploma or GED equivalent, along with at least one year of relevant work experience and one year of supervisory experience. No license or certification is required.

Work Standards and Physical Expectations

The role requires adherence to company policies, safety standards, and confidentiality rules. It also calls for professional telephone etiquette, effective use of computers and/or point-of-sale systems, and the ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, or place items weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
