What You’ll Do
- Support employees and managers in documenting, reviewing, and resolving workplace concerns through coaching, counseling, disciplinary action, and, where necessary, employment separation.
- Handle day-to-day HR program activities across areas such as discipline, investigations, disputes, performance and talent management, recognition, engagement, occupational health and safety, and hiring support.

- Complete personnel transactions, maintain accurate records, and support compliance reviews and audits tied to applicable labor requirements.
- Apply policies and procedures consistently across business units and in line with company values and culture.
- Prepare confidential reports and support audit-related requests while handling sensitive employee information carefully and discreetly.
- Respond to employee questions and HR concerns across all levels of the organization, including monitoring the HR inbox and department phone line.
- Resolve routine employee relations matters and support HR leadership on more complex cases.
- Carry out thorough, fair, and objective investigations and ensure proper supporting documentation is collected.
- Develop and update standard operating procedures in collaboration with leadership and stakeholders.
- Assist with performance management system administration, including reporting support and troubleshooting.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Education & Experience
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A degree in Human Resources or a related area is preferred. The role calls for at least 2 years of HR experience, with employee relations or a closely related background preferred.
Skills & Competencies
The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, excellent organization, sharp attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to balance several priorities at once. You should be comfortable solving problems in a changing environment, delivering strong customer service, resolving conflict, and building trust through integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Knowledge of employee and labor laws is important, along with a solid understanding of federal, state, and company employment policies and procedures. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn HRIS and talent management systems quickly are also needed.
Certifications

The role also requires regular use of gross motor skills, bi-manual dexterity, and fine motor skills for computer tasks.
Work Environment
