Role overview
The HV Stations Supervisor will oversee the delivery of high-voltage station construction, maintenance, and fault-response activities within the assigned project delivery area. The position is accountable for ensuring all work is completed to the required standards of time, quality, and budget.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and sequence work so annual delivery programmes are completed effectively.
- Oversee the safe execution of work across the assigned region, including CAPEX initiatives, OPEX activities, and fault-response tasks.
- Schedule team members in the most efficient way possible.
- Make sure direct reports complete work safely, on schedule, and to the required standard.
- Conduct quality and safety checks according to the agreed audit plan and provide feedback on performance.
- Support the growth and development of the team.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Handle additional duties and deliver KPI targets assigned by the Project Leader, HV Stations.
Experience and qualifications
- An Advanced Level 6 Electrical Craft Certificate, or a suitable Level 7 (or above) qualification in Electrical, Electrical Services, Electronics, Mechanical, or another relevant discipline with substantial electrical theory content.
- Working knowledge of ESB work practice approvals and certifications.
- Understanding of high-voltage network assets and standards.
- Previous project management experience.
- Ability to understand and apply relevant quality management standards.
- Knowledge of ESB Networks safety rules.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
Location and reporting
This role is based in Athlone, Central Region, and reports to the Project Leader, HV Stations, Central Region.

Compensation
The salary range for this role is €55,000 to €70,000 per year.
