Role overview
This position is for a high-energy content specialist who is deeply plugged into short-form video culture and motivated by growth. The main goal is to help build Bump into the leading app in India by creating content that performs, spotting trends early, and working closely with creators and internal teams to scale what works.
The role is available either as a full-time, in-person position in Paris or as a remote role based in India.
The person in this role will help bring Indian internet culture into the Paris office, shape content strategy, work with creators, experiment rapidly, and contribute to making Bump a widely used app.
Profile
- Highly driven, ambitious, and inventive in how you approach content.
- A strong storyteller who can understand why certain videos succeed while others do not.
- Heavy user of Instagram and closely familiar with the platform’s style and behavior.
- Able to provide constructive feedback to creators in a way that improves their output.
- Well-versed in Indian memes, humour, and online trends.
- Comfortable using Hindi and English, with prior experience of living in India.
- Open to working onsite in Paris with a fast-paced team, if based there.
- Experimental, quick-moving, and detail-focused, with the willingness to try many ideas to find the one that works best.
What you will do
- Take ownership of Bump’s growth in India.
- Lead all content and creator-related activity for the Indian market.
- Create Reels, YouTube Shorts, and UGC-style ad creatives that are engaging and effective.
- Develop and oversee a network of Indian creators.
- Run influencer-led campaigns with both large and micro creators in India.
- Partner with paid marketing teams to convert strong content into strong performance.
- Track trends early and act on them before they become mainstream.
- Draft briefs, share feedback, and help outside creators produce stronger work.
- Work closely each day with growth, distribution, and product teams in the Paris office.
- Contribute ideas in brainstorms, test concepts quickly, and help guide Bump’s creative direction.
- Support launches, events, and activations focused on India.
Requirements
- At least 1 to 5+ years of experience creating short-form content, whether in a brand, agency, influencer, or creator setting.
- Hands-on experience producing advertising content, especially UGC-driven formats.
- Experience working with creators or giving creative direction and feedback.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and the Indian creator ecosystem.
- Comfortable communicating in both Hindi and English.
- Prior experience living in India.
- Willingness to work either in person in Paris or remotely from India.
