Job description
Role overview
An established financial technology company is hiring an Indirect Procurement Analyst to support its Global Procurement function from anywhere in the United States. This role focuses on turning data into practical recommendations, strengthening procurement processes, and backing cross-functional work that improves savings and operational performance. It is a strong fit for an early-career candidate looking to build experience in enterprise procurement and contribute to meaningful business outcomes.
This assignment is a W2 contract running through the end of the year, with competitive benefits, fully remote work across the U.S., and a strong possibility of extension or conversion to permanent employment based on performance.
Key responsibilities
The analyst will work with procurement leaders and teams across finance, accounting, business systems, compliance, and other functions to prepare analyses and supporting documentation. The role includes building business cases and impact assessments, reviewing processes and data for improvement opportunities, and converting stakeholder needs into clear requirements for technical teams.
The position also involves analyzing large datasets, documenting user stories and process flows, tracking project milestones, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders to keep work on schedule and aligned with goals.
Skills and experience
Candidates should bring a background in business analysis, consulting, procurement-related work, or similar experience, ideally with 1–3 years in the field or strong internship/graduate-level exposure. A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a related discipline is expected, with a master’s degree preferred.
Success in this role requires solid skills in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. Familiarity with process modeling, requirements gathering, ERP or procurement systems, supplier management, and corporate travel management is beneficial. Strong communication, organization, stakeholder management, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting are also important.
Benefits
The role offers medical coverage with four plan options, dental and orthodontia benefits, vision coverage, a health savings account, flexible spending accounts for health and dependent care, voluntary life insurance, short-term and long-term disability coverage, hospital indemnity insurance, paid sick leave, legal and identity protection plans, a pre-tax commuter benefit, and a 529 college savings plan.
Eligibility and work authorization
Applicants must already be authorized to work on a full-time basis in the country where they are applying, and sponsorship is not available. Candidates should also be prepared to complete pre-employment screening. Reasonable accommodation is available during the hiring process, and applicants should communicate any needs in advance.
Additional information
This position is part of a high-visibility procurement initiative and is especially well suited to candidates early in their careers who have relevant internship experience or graduate-level experience. The hiring team is looking for someone who can support strategic purchasing decisions by combining analytical thinking with clear communication and cross-functional coordination.
