Role Summary
This position is a full-time, on-site opportunity in Singapore for an Inspection Engineer. The role centers on carrying out and coordinating inspections for mechanical and electrical systems, confirming that quality standards are met, and carrying out routine testing of materials and equipment. The role also involves drafting thorough inspection documentation and working with teams from different disciplines to support the dependable and safe operation of systems.
Core Responsibilities
- Plan, perform, and coordinate inspections for mechanical and electrical equipment and systems.
- Verify that inspection activities align with established quality control requirements.
- Carry out periodic tests on materials, components, and equipment.
- Prepare clear and detailed inspection reports and related documentation.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve reliability and safety outcomes.
- Support collaboration across engineering and operational stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Solid hands-on experience in quality control, inspection, and testing workflows.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical ability, and comfort working with technical records.
- Practical understanding of safety rules and regulatory standards used in engineering and manufacturing environments.
- Capability to work on-site and contribute effectively within a team setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or a closely related discipline.
- Familiarity with inspection and testing instruments; relevant inspection or quality assurance certifications are advantageous.
