About the role

We are looking for a creative, strategy-minded Instructional Designer who can develop engaging learning experiences for adult professionals. The role blends traditional instructional design with modern digital methods and the practical use of generative AI tools. You will work with subject matter experts and stakeholders to build learning programs that are effective, practical, and aligned with business outcomes.

The learning team focuses on internal and external online education through high-impact e-learning solutions. The environment values experimentation, storytelling, and learner engagement rather than checkbox-style course creation.

The ideal person brings instructional design experience, a strong understanding of AI implementation, and the ability to work quickly in an iterative setting. You should be comfortable building or configuring custom GPT-style tools for learning use cases and translating complex topics into clear, interactive instruction.

Responsibilities

Your work will center on designing blended learning programs and helping deliver learning initiatives that support business goals and learner needs.

  • Partner with internal subject matter experts and stakeholders to shape and deliver blended learning programs.
  • Use adult-learning principles and evidence-based instructional design methods to create learner-focused experiences.
  • Develop and assemble learning solutions across formats such as e-learning, self-paced modules, virtual sessions, and on-the-job activities.
  • Maintain consistency, accessibility, and instructional quality across all delivery channels.
  • Use generative AI tools, including custom GPT builds, to enhance learning solutions.
  • Coordinate timelines, resources, and communication so learning projects are delivered in an organized and timely way.

Requirements

The role calls for someone who can combine learning design expertise with technical curiosity and a collaborative mindset.

  • Experience in instructional design, with exposure to AI-enabled learning or AI implementation.
  • Clear understanding of what large language models can and cannot do, including tools such as GPT-4.
  • Ability to prototype and configure custom GPTs or similar AI-based learning tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working in a fast-moving, iterative environment.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a desire to make learning experiences more engaging and effective.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with SMEs, stakeholders, and cross-functional team members.

Hiring process
