Key responsibilities
- Maintain thorough and accurate logs of client conversations and correspondence.
- Work with both prospective and current clients to build long-term relationships.
- Keep current on insurance offerings, market developments, and applicable rules and regulations.
- Spot opportunities to cross-sell and follow up with clients to create further business.
- Provide excellent customer service while helping the team achieve performance goals.
- Assist with team activities and contribute to meeting wider departmental targets.
Experience and qualifications
- Background in insurance or financial services would be an advantage.
- Insurance broking or a similar role is preferred.
- Holding APA Personal General Insurance or CIP is desirable, but not essential.
- You should be proactive, adaptable, self-driven, and professional in your approach.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail are important.
- Success in a sales-led, target-focused environment is highly valued.
- Clear verbal communication and a confident phone manner are required.
- Comfort using IT systems and handling multiple platforms efficiently is needed.
