Job description

Overview

GHD is seeking an experienced Integrity Officer to help reinforce a workplace culture grounded in integrity, ethical behaviour, and accountability. In this position, you will provide dependable guidance on ethical issues, support fair and transparent decision-making, and help detect and control integrity-related risks across the organisation.

The role sits within a complex and changing environment where good judgement, discretion, and practical problem-solving are important. You will need to work comfortably through uncertainty, assess risk carefully, and communicate advice in a clear and accurate way.

This opportunity is suited to someone who can work closely with a collaborative, high-performing team and contribute across a broad range of responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shape and continuously improve integrity-related policies, procedures, and initiatives.
  • Prepare clear, accurate, and meaningful reporting on integrity risks and programme performance for the ELT and Audit Committee.
  • Advise on identifying, declaring, and managing conflicts of interest.
  • Support ethical decision-making and responsible handling of information.
  • Carry out investigations and interviews, ensuring issues are resolved consistently, promptly, and with appropriate remediation.
  • Design and deliver integrity training and tailored learning for higher-risk areas.
  • Enhance integrity frameworks, systems, and processes, including GRC tools.
  • Develop trusted working relationships with Legal, Risk, People, and business leaders.
  • Lead and support a small team to achieve strong-quality outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

  • A tertiary qualification in Law, Business, Governance, or a similar discipline.
  • Proven experience in integrity, compliance, legal, or risk-focused roles.
  • Solid understanding of ethics, governance structures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving capability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence others and earn trust.
  • Confidence handling sensitive matters with tact and strict confidentiality.
  • Experience using case management systems and compliance tools would be an advantage.
  • Someone who is detail-focused and comfortable juggling multiple projects.

Work Environment

This role may be based in Australia or New Zealand, depending on your home location.

GHD operates a hybrid work model, with three days per week in the office to support collaboration, connection, and productivity.

Equal Opportunity

GHD values a diverse workforce and is committed to equal employment opportunity, welcoming applicants from all nationalities, genders, and cultural backgrounds.
