Role Summary

The New York office is seeking an Intern for PR & Influencer Relations. Reporting to the Manager of PR & Influencer Marketing, this person will support the internal PR team by closely monitoring influencer and media coverage and helping turn that activity into reporting and insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Track influencer coverage carefully in Tribe Dynamics, label content accurately, and share standout coverage with the wider team as it happens.
• Run daily searches to find brand mentions and add relevant results to the monthly PR report.
• Coordinate large-scale product mailings with the PR and Influencer Marketing team for social creators, professional makeup artists, and traditional media contacts, including messenger and shipping arrangements.
• Handle routine product sends quickly and accurately whenever they are needed.
• Keep PR and influencer contact lists updated under the direction of the Assistant, PR & Influencer Marketing.
• Maintain an organized PR closet while working from the office.
• Stay on top of social platforms for timely industry and competitor updates such as press trips, mailings, and collaborations, and keep the PR team informed.
• Support special PR initiatives, including research and event setup or teardown when required.
• Assist with pro artist relations tasks such as research, outreach, and list upkeep.
• Build communication skills for working effectively with teams across functions.

Candidate Profile

This opportunity is suited to a current rising junior or senior working toward a bachelor’s degree. The ideal candidate is detail-focused, flexible, professional, and genuinely interested in the beauty industry. Strong written, verbal, and analytical abilities are important, along with confidence using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent organization, a sharp eye for detail, the ability to work independently, and prior beauty experience are all valued. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Additional Information

The role offers medical insurance plans, a 401(k) match, and opportunities for growth and development within the LVMH group. The stated pay range is $19 to $21 per hour. MAKE UP FOR EVER, LLC notes that the published range is used as a market-based guide and may be adjusted based on experience, performance, and tenure. The lower third of the range is intended for employees developing in the role, the middle third for strong performers with significant tenure, and the upper third for consistently high performers with significant tenure. The company may pay outside the published range where appropriate.
