Role overview
A leading European private equity firm is seeking an Investment Associate through a recruitment partnership. This is a strong opportunity to work in a hands-on investment environment and gain broad exposure to the complete deal journey, from assessing opportunities through to execution, portfolio support, acquisitions, and value creation work.
What you will do
- Assess potential investments by carrying out market, industry, and commercial reviews.
- Build financial models, perform valuations, and complete investment analysis.
- Assist with transaction execution, including due diligence, negotiations, and deal structuring.
- Work with portfolio company leadership to support growth plans and strategic projects.
- Spot and evaluate acquisition targets within the portfolio.
- Contribute to value creation initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, and exit preparation.
Candidate profile
- Between 3 and 5 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, corporate finance, transaction services, strategy consulting, or corporate development.
- Strong ability in financial modelling, valuation, and analytical work.
- Solid academic credentials.
- A commercial mindset with an entrepreneurial approach.
- Clear communication skills and confidence in managing stakeholders.
- Self-driven, intellectually curious, and willing to take ownership.
- Genuine interest in business, investing, and creating value.
- Experience in an industry or operational setting is beneficial.
