Team overview
The Solutions business acts as a central hub that brings together investment content from across Man Group’s internal teams as well as external alpha strategies. Its goal is to design flexible cross-content portfolio solutions that address a wide variety of client requirements.
The Solutions Investment Specialists team supports the firm’s client base worldwide by handling client queries and contributing to pitch materials, marketing content, DDQs/RFPs, and reporting. The function is central to every stage of the client journey and plays an important role in the business’s continued success.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will support the Solutions Investment Specialists team across the full spectrum of investment collateral, working closely with Solutions Portfolio Management, CPM, and Sales colleagues.
- Assist in preparing tailored decks for custom mandates alongside Investment Specialists, Solutions Portfolio Management, and CPM teams.
- Coordinate and deliver RFPs and DDQs on time and to a high standard, gathering input from relevant stakeholders across the business.
- Ensure responses reflect the latest research, analysis, and investment messaging.
- Build and maintain strong, trusted working relationships with CPMs, Portfolio Management, and other internal stakeholders to keep content accurate and high quality.
- Spot areas where Investment Specialists can add value for portfolio managers, sales teams, and the wider organisation, and help drive related initiatives.
- Convert complex investment concepts and data into clear, structured, and visually compelling presentations.
- Contribute to a range of client-facing projects.
Competencies and requirements
- Comfort working with senior sales and investment management professionals in support of commercial priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an understanding of what institutional and retail clients expect.
- Well-developed organisation and time management abilities, with the discipline to prioritise effectively.
- Capable of working independently while remaining a strong team contributor and meeting tight deadlines.
- Comfortable in an entrepreneurial setting and motivated to keep building relevant skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Sharp analytical thinking with close attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to perform under pressure and deliver to demanding timelines.
