Job description

Role overview

Bruin is hiring an Investor Relations Associate for a leading pan-European private equity platform based in London. The firm manages more than €2 billion in assets and invests in strong businesses across Europe, with a reputation for being one of the most entrepreneurial and active investors in the lower mid-market.

The position sits within a compact, high-performing investor relations team and involves close collaboration with senior leaders, investment professionals, and current investors across Europe, North America, and the Middle East. It is a strong opportunity to build experience in fundraising, investor communications, and strategic projects, while developing a long-term career in private markets.

Key responsibilities

  • Help drive ongoing fundraising work and support future capital raises.
  • Create investor decks, fundraising documents, and responses to due diligence queries.
  • Assist with identifying prospective investors and carrying out market mapping.
  • Handle investor information requests and coordinate updates across internal teams.
  • Support quarterly reporting, AGM planning, and ongoing investor communications.
  • Keep CRM records and fundraising pipelines up to date.
  • Partner with investment teams to communicate portfolio performance, strategy, and market positioning.
  • Contribute to wider business development and capital formation efforts.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate has 3 to 4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or a related advisory environment, preferably from a respected investment bank, private equity fund, or advisory platform. A solid understanding of private equity and alternative asset management is important, along with strong analytical and presentation capabilities.

The role also calls for a polished communicator who can interact confidently with senior stakeholders and institutional investors. Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills are expected. A bachelor's degree from a strong university with an excellent academic record is required. Knowledge of a European language is helpful but not mandatory.

Why this role stands out

  • Join one of Europe’s most dynamic and rapidly expanding private equity platforms.
  • Work directly with senior investor relations and partner-level professionals.
  • Gain exposure to leading global institutional investors.
  • Take on meaningful responsibility from the outset in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Benefit from a clear growth path within a developing capital formation team.

Compensation

The package includes a competitive base salary, a discretionary bonus, and a long-term incentive opportunity.

Who this role suits

This opportunity is well suited to an Analyst 3, Associate, or Senior Associate currently working in investment banking, private equity, or a related advisory role, and looking to move into a commercial, investor-facing position within a leading European private equity business.
