Role overview
Lacroix Private Medicine is looking for an IT Operations Manager to oversee the organization’s technology operations during a period of rapid expansion. This is a full-time permanent role with both strategic and hands-on responsibility, reporting to the IT Director.
The position is centered in Laval, with occasional travel to the network’s other sites, including Saint-Sauveur and Gatineau. Candidates must be residents of Quebec City or Montreal, and the role requires in-person work. Travel within the wider network may also include Montérégie and the Laurentians.

What you will do
You will take ownership of IT operations and help shape the way technology supports clinics, doctors, and patients. The role combines operational control, team leadership, service quality management, and process improvement.
- Oversee the full scope of IT operations, including infrastructure, networks, security, and support.
- Lead, coach, and develop technical teams so they can perform effectively.
- Maintain strong performance and reliability across mission-critical systems.
- Handle major incidents with calm, structure, and efficiency.
- Track KPIs and SLAs and keep service quality at a high standard.
- Improve operational processes such as change management, governance, and continuous improvement.
- Optimize vendor management and technology costs.
- Strengthen cybersecurity controls and business continuity planning.
- Contribute to strategic technology decisions with the IT leadership team.
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
- Build, maintain, and test backup and business continuity plans.
- Provide technical support when needed for network or system issues, including remote or on-site troubleshooting, incident resolution, and user guidance or training, especially around cybersecurity.
Profile and experience
The ideal candidate brings significant IT experience, leadership capability, and the ability to perform well in complex, fast-moving multi-site environments.
- At least 7 years of experience in IT.
- At least 3 years in team leadership or operations management.
- Prior experience in a multi-site environment is essential.
- A university degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline is required.
- Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or Azure would be considered an advantage.

- Experience with cloud and hybrid environments.
- Monitoring and performance management tools.

Working conditions
- Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.
- On-site presence is required.
- Occasional travel is part of the role, and a vehicle is necessary.
- A 3-month probation period applies.
Availability requirements
- On-call availability during evenings and weekends, depending on operational needs.
- Availability is required when major incidents occur.
